Become a member before you register to save $40-$180 off In-Person registration and to be eligible to apply for ICAR funding!

Members of the NAASC Arabidopsis Community group are eligible for discounts & to apply for funding, including fee waivers.

You must be a member to apply for ICAR funding (membership waivers available for those with financial challenges). Do not register now for ICAR if you will apply for a registration waiver. You must first become a member to be eligible to apply for funding and wait to register until you are notified if you have been awarded a fee waiver. Funding to be announced March 31.

Important Deadlines:
  1. March 12: Deadline to request a membership fee waiver to apply for In-Person funding
  2. March14: Deadline to become a member to apply for In-Person funding
  3. March 15: Deadline to apply for all In-Person funding (Must be a NAASC Community group member to apply)
  4. April 1: Awardees for IN-PERSON funding will be notified by email and you must register by May 31 or any submitted abstract will be removed.
  5. April 1: Virtual Fee funding application opens (Must be a NAASC Community group member to apply)
  6. April 12: Deadline to become a member before member early bird fee expires
  7. April 15: Deadline to submit an abstract for a talk
  8. April 15: Early Bird discounted fee ends
  9. April 26: Deadline to request a membership fee waiver to apply for VIRTUAL fee waiver (Must be a NAASC Community group member to apply)
  10. May 1: Deadline to apply for virtual fee waiver funding (Must be a NAASC Community group member to apply)
  11. May 15: Awardees for VIRTUAL funding will be notified by email and you must register by May 31 or any submitted abstract will be removed.
  12. May 31: Deadline to submit an abstract for a poster
  13. May 31: Deadline to register or your participation & abstract will be canceled
  14. June 15: Deadline to cancel In-Person registration in writing to icar.registrar@gmail.com ($60 cancellation fee)
  15. July 1: Deadline to transfer your paid registration to someone else, with no fee (must notify icar.registrar@gmail.com in writing) & Deadline to cancel Virtual registration (must notify icar.registrar@gmail.com in writing; $30 cancellation fee)
  16. July 5: Deadline to become a member for reduced member regular fee
  17. July 8: Regular fee ends. Onsite registration required.
